The human flight races, air games, show and competition WHAT ARE THE SPACE GAMES?
Space Games is a world wide broadcasted Skydiving Competition and the longest running FreeFly Competition ever. Olav Zipser created the Games which started in their 1st edition 1997. Goal of the Games is it to research, develop and document the Performance Evolution of Human FreeFlight.
The Space Games are an excellent opportunity to improve you flying skills and to get more into the Art of Human Flight, but it is as well a great opportunity for Athletes to find Sponsors and media attention!
The FreeFly Athletes perform under controlled conditions and at the same time they help to collect important data to research the human flying which is still very important for the future development of the sport.
THE SPACE GAMES "OPEN CLASS" The Space Games Organization created the "Open class" category for the new generation of Atmosphere Dolphin "A" license holders. This is beneficial to new Space Games competitors and gives them the opportunity to compete against freeflyers with approximately the same skill level and for them to learn quickly about the freefly skills involved in Space Games Competitions. . THE SPACE GAMES "PRO CLASS" The Space Games Organization created the "Pro Class" category for all freeflyers with an AD "B" license or higher and for those who placed first in the open class individual races at previous space games competitions.
